    Summer fishing in London

It's been one of those summers where if you make fishing plans in advance it'll rain but if you cancel your plans the sun comes out.

Went out a few times in the last couple weeks and did alright... some walleye last night trolling worm harnesses on a separate rods back of a deep diver (we call it the 'dirty water dinner bell' program)

Bass fishing has been good better than average as well... caught this one on a vintage Goldeneye 'trouble maker' popper. Topwater bass is one of the most exciting forms of fishing out there.

yeah that perch was caught trolling. we pull the lines in at the end of the trolling run to make a tight turn... my son was reeling in the deep diver crankbait and all of a sudden it's fighting him harder than some of the walleye. So he reels in this 12 inch perch... totally contradicts everything I know (or should i say thought I knew) about fishing for perch.
