    Nuckle Ball Jigs

One of my favorite jig heads for Walleye, and I use them almost exclusively now, are the Fintech Nuckle Ball Jig heads. I have had enormous success with them and I use them with all types of baits. Minnows, worms, Gulp products, etc.

If you haven't tried them I suggest you do so right away, you won't be disappointed. They come in different sizes and colors. Nuckle Ball Jigs-knuck-ball-colors-jpgNuckle Ball Jigs-knuck-ball-jig-jpg

Looks like a good replacement to the conventional jig head
It seems the weight forward design would cause your bait to stand up straighter
I will have to give em a go...

They have officially replaced all of my conventional jigs.
That is indeed what they do. As they sit on the bottom the hook is always up off bottom. I find that I rarely ever get snagged with the hook because of this but most importantly for walleye this allows for a more successful hook set because they tend to get the hook in their mouth when hitting the bait. As we all know walleye hit very lightly, unlike bass and pike, so having the hook in their mouth early is a real advantage.

Trust me you will not be disappointed. I just got back from my annual week long walleye fishing trip and as you will see in the pics I will be posting soon I absolutely killed them again this year.
Not only did I limit out but I landed more trophy walleye this year than any other year. I nailed two walleye in the first two days one at 25" and another at 25 1/2". I then landed another on the last day that was also in the 25" range.

Were is this again? On the french river? I'm looking at getting the guys together at a good fishing spot and making it an annual thing.
