    Smile fishing rod for ladies

I am married to an avid fisherman. He and my son are not diehards, but like to get out as much as possible. I have come to figure that I need to invest some time in the sport if I want to see more of my family.
Does anyone have any suggestions about good rods and reels for ladies?
    Any input would be great.

Any rod and reel that you can comfortably hold would be suitable
There are a lot of variables to consider...
What type of fishing you are going to do?
What type of tackle you are going to use?
What kind of money do you want to spend?

If you want something to show your femininity Bass Pro Shops carries a line of Ladies spinning combos
    fishing rod for ladies-1844699_11092205011613_003-jpg

This combo would cost about $40 plus tx and delivery
It would be fine for the occasional outing

There are better combos available at Canadian tire
    for $20 or $30 more
The sky is the limit to what you could spend

Check out Bass Pro Shops online to see what is available

I would recommend a medium action reel with a medium action Rod about 6' long.

    I hope this helps
