    Traditional/Compound Bow VS Cross Bow

What do the rest of you prefer and why?

I use both although the majority of my hunting is done with the crossbow. Tore my rotator cuff in my draw arm a few years ago. Can't hold the draw for long.

i use all three methods but mostly the compound.the old bones are creeping up on me and after working on bows all week i will be using my crossbow a little more. i ordered a new kodiak which i haven't received yet but will give that a go to.i'm not drawing as much as i once did neither,no more 70lbs bows for this guy.i got 3 quartizone shots just to get thru this year.

    And ouch again.

I shoot strictly compound right now. I don't own a crossbow but would like to some day. First I am getting a new compound, then a couple of new guns. At that point I will probably look at a crossbow.
I really like the compound as I do find it more challenging than the crossbow. To be able to draw on an animal and take a clean shot is an amazing feeling.

I'm primarily a compound shooter although I do love to take a trad bow and have some fun with the boys. I just ordered a new Hoyt ( hard to say with spitting) Buffalo and looking forward to a long cold winter shooting with the boys at the 3D club.

As to crossbows.....no interest what so ever.
