Monster Black Bear - Could Be a Record

A monster black bear was taken on September 13 by Mike Gauthier of LongLac which weighed in at 760 pounds dressed. This is a huge bear by weight no question but the records are made for skull measurements. The present Ontario record for modern firearms is held by Fred Simmons of Minden in 2000.
